Issue #41 · Flatten Recursive Type

  • 2020 editor
  • issue

The file-storable type representation of a document's data is recursive for our cases - basically a rose tree. However, when we're editing one of the nodes at any point in that tree, or creating a new node, we need to be able to reference it's children without having to load that structure. For this reason, we must have a way of traversing the tree, and making a mapping of unique indicies to nodes, where recursion is done by cycling lookups. That way, we can omit loading the children, and only focus on the current node at-hand. *Archived by the Wayback Machine on 15 September 2020; the repository has since been deleted from GitHub.*
