#137 · Steady the follow test's reloads in WebKit

  • timeline-app
  • pull request

The reload checks added in #132 (#128) were flaky in WebKit, and failed CI on #134 even though that PR doesn't touch the frontend. There were two causes, both in the test: - **Cancelled requests:** a reload cancels the old page's in-flight timeline queries, and WebKit reports those as page errors ("… due to access control checks"). The test now ignores such cancellations while it reloads; any other error still fails it. - **Timing:** after reloading into a separated view, the test read the first bounds drawn, which can come before the restored view. It now waits up to 5 s for the restored bounds and fails if they never appear. Locally, the follow test passed 5 runs in WebKit, 2 in Chromium and 1 in Firefox. Before this change WebKit failed 3 of 4 runs.
