#229 · Make duration bands readable and keep them off the tick labels

  • timeline-app
  • pull request

Fixes #228. On a phone, duration band titles were cut off top and bottom, and the bands covered the axis's tick labels ("1920 CE"). - **Taller bands:** 12px (was 8px, border included) with a 10px line and 2px side padding, so 9px titles read in full without hovering. Their three rows are 13px apart (was 9px). - **Below the tick labels:** the tick labels sit at 213–226px, and the bands used to start at 202px. They now start at 227px. - **Labels under the axis** move down to 272px (was 234px) to make room. The lowest ends at about 347px, inside the 365px stage and the 340px rows of a comparison. Checked at phone width (412px) on the Marine Corps timeline, 1906–1935. `npm test` (300), typecheck, prettier and the browser suite pass.
