#237 · Add full screen for the timeline

  • timeline-app
  • pull request

Fixes #234. - **Full screen** in the timeline's toolbar, or `F` with the timeline focused, makes the timeline card cover the window. The stage takes everything the toolbar and footer leave. - The page's own layout does the work, so it also works where the browser refuses its full screen, such as an embed without `allow="fullscreen"`. Where the browser allows it, its chrome is hidden too. - Dialogs (the inspector, the reader, search, plugins) still open above the timeline. Escape closes an open dialog or menu first, except under the browser's own full screen in Firefox and Safari, which use Escape to leave full screen (and so leave ours). - **Exit full screen**, Escape, or leaving the browser's full screen by its own controls all return to the normal page. - The help dialog and the guide's navigation and keyboard tables mention it. Tests: `test/fullscreen-browser.mjs` checks that the card covers the window and the stage reaches the footer, that the help dialog shows above it, and each way of leaving, after which the stage is back to its usual height. The Chromium suite passes locally, as do the 301 unit tests.
