Every thread of your story, in order

What you can do

• Lay out the canon. Moments for events, durations for reigns, journeys and ages, and links between the ones that belong together, with notes and pictures on each.
• Follow one thread. Tag events by character, book or storyline, then Separate by tags to lift them into a track of their own above the rest, and Rejoin.
• Use your world's calendar. A custom time display, a short script that prints and reads times, shows them in your world's own reckoning, such as years counted within each age.
• Line up versions. Compare a draft with the canon, or two books' timelines, on one axis.
• Retime in one step. Shift or scale times… moves or stretches everything, or only the events with certain tags.
• Write with others. Co-writers propose changes as pull requests, which you merge or reject, and every save is kept in History.

What you can count on

• Private until you publish. Timelines saved to the server start private. Make one public when it's ready, and anyone can read it without an account.
• Yours to keep. Export any timeline as an .ochx file, or work offline in the desktop app or the single-file editor.
• Free and open source, under the GNU GPL version 3.
